No, I haven't confused this with a forum for the discussion of unexpected medical issues.....<div>
</div><div>I thought I'd sort of finished an oil painting, though its surface looked a bit rough and unfinished in places; anyway, I left it overnight, planning to work on it again today the moment my hangover had stopped throbbing. (It's the weekend, you see: we like a little drinkypoo at the weekend..)</div><div>
</div><div>I have just looked at it; the paint has settled a little overnight, and it is defying me to add a single further stroke. It is proclaiming that, imperfect though it be, it is finished and I am to leave it alone. </div><div>
</div><div>This so rarely happens (to me)... normally, I can find something that requires a tweak here, a fiddle there, or something that needs removing altogether. But this is just so "leave me alone and put that brush away" that it might be someone else's painting - does this ever happen to you? Before today, I would have said it never happens to me....</div>
