Hello all in the oil forum
I have been trying different medium's to see what I like best so far acrylics have come out top I use system3 paint...
I have just watched Roy Lang's Sea & sky in oils DVD as I wish to paint a sea scene using acrylics as I was told you can use these in the same way as oils, I did find whilst watching the DVD it was more easy to blend colours on the canvas as the working time is longer whereas acrylics dry quickly....
I am therefore thinking about purchasing some oil paints but as I am on a very limited budget I do not know which brand would be value for money also can I use my acrylic brushes or will it mean I have to have a set just for oils, I also have a set of watercolour brushes but I struggle with this medium...
Any advice will be gratefully welcome...
