Hello I would like to introduce José SALVAGGIO. He painted for many years (over 40 year). For José, only light account. I offered him to make videos to share his experience. Video shows a composition since the beginning to end. You can watch them here Here are its color palette : titanium white, lemon yellow, orange-yellow, bright red, dark ultramarine blue, olive green, earth shadow, black ivory I hope you enjoy these videos. Videos Cordially (sorry for my bad english :cool:) Lyviette
I'm sure I've heard of him before - I think by the way that a translation of "earth shadow" might be raw or burnt umber; while "orange-yellow" is probably known to us as Cadmium Yellow.
Thank you Lyviette. Never heard ofr him but enjoyed No 25 video so far then impatiences took over and I viewed a lot of the Beginners knife painting, I am guessing he work in oils with linseed as a medium. I like his works and will view mors, thanks again.
Thanks, he is very swift and adept which I am not, but I am a quick worker.
Hello, I just put online a new video. José painted the Protestant Church of St. Paul in Strasbourg (France). It was a winter day, cold with some rain. The sky was gray. However, there was a special atmosphere. I found on Google maps place of shooting. Thank you to Jose Lyviette 😉
Beautiful painting - and there certainly is a special atmosphere.
Here is a new adventure with Jose. It is a story of oil and water. Here's the video. At the result Lyviette
Stunning work in that weather and the canvas unprotected.
Lovely paintings, in perhaps the most magical of mediums.
Stunning work in that weather and the canvas unprotected That is what I aimed to paint once upon a time, swift, en plein aire in oils but always seems to labour. Jose has a wonderfully quick style and the way he mixes the correct colours and tones are so instant.
Thank you to José. We are preparing a seaside stay for April May. I hope that I will be back with news videos :D Lyviette
