I have opened a new tube of W&N Naples Yellow. Much to my dismay, before the paint came a river of oil. Subsequent uses have produced further rivulets in front of the paint.
Should I stand the open tube upturned on an absorbent cloth to soak up the oil or would that be detrimental to the paint?
If this issue has been discussed in a previous thread please can you direct me to it. I searched but found nothing.
