After using Liquin as a painting and oiling out medium for a couple of years, I have now gone back to the more traditional painting medium of linseed oil and pure turps and am wondering if this can also be used as my oiling out medium as well, as I think it would be best to be consistent. I know that linseed based oiling out can leave the painting tacky for long periods so does anyone have a formula that they know works and dries well?
