I was on the hunt though my dad's old painting stuff looking for some burnt umber, none, although there was a tube of van Dyke brown, any thoughts on this colour anyone, is it safe alternative to BU. I read that it is bitumous earth, tar? does that mean it doesnt dry?There was also a tube of the dreaded alizarin crimson.bestMick
