I love the effects that can be achieved with glazing but I always encounter the same problem when I try to do it. I find that the thin glaze seperates on the top of the dry underpainting so that intead of getting a smooth film of transparent colour, i get bobbles of colour in places and no glaze on some parts. I know about fat over lean and have tried mixing my glaze with oilier and oilier mixes without success. Can anyone advise me re this problem Please?
