hi i am new to this site and am learning new painting techniques - recently i did a picture on black pastel paper of some plums - i painted the shapes with white gouache then went over with watercolours. does anyone have more information about this way of painting or any artists using it? i believe an american did do some plants using this method but cannot find any info.
