I'm really curious to know what other people use in their mixed media artworks. What paper or board to you use as your background? Do you use paints, pen, pencil, wax crayons, oil pastels? Do you include any cuttings from magazines or newspapers? Do you add anything else weird or wonderful?
I've recently bought myself a 'spirograph' type gadget and thought I'd use them in a bigger artwork but I'm looking for a few new or different ideas to fill up the space *-)
