I find the process of creation incredibly rewarding, and if I can make a few quid on the way it's even better. If I'm being completely honest, there's no doubt that it's an ego boost to have people buzzing over your work as well...I don't do it mainly for the praise but it's an added bonus :)

Like Jen I use my art to escape, when I dont paint I drink too much and then make bad choices.
when I'm painting fluently my life becomes balanced and Im in control.
I believe if I lost my gift of art I'd wither away & die, art & music are 1 of the few pleasures for me. :laugh:
