I'm sure this question has been asked before but I have only recently joined the
Forum and would be really interested to hear what provides the inspiration for you. I am inspired by all things natural, birds, animals, flowers, seed heads, shells, pebbles etc. Artists I find inspiring are Angie Lewin, Carry Ackroyd, Robert Gillmor, Mark Hearld, Andrew Haslen to name but a few. I am drawn to linocuts, screen prints and wood engravings. I live in an Art Deco building and am really inspired by that era too. I really regret that I didn't start on this art journey years ago but family commitments etc didn't allow. There is so much I want to do but not enough time!
