Yesterday I had the great joy of going to Theatre Clwyd, our local theatre and galleries . About twenty of us sat in on an afternoon rehearsal of the Welsh National Dance Company. We were allowed to sit and take photographs and to draw. I think it is probably the most difficult thing I have ever attempted. . All continual movement , 11 dancers on the stage all doing different warm up excersises.
Scribble, discard , scribble , discard . I did about 40 scribbles....phew. Then in the evening we went to a " proper " peformance and sat and enjoyed.
