This is an art discusssion
Apparently Branagh isone of our finest actors, not that I have seen much of him, but 30mintutes into the last episode of Wallander tonight I have given up,quite enjoying the previous two Sunday episodes and not having seenthe original Swedish version.<p class="western" style="margin-bottom: 0cm">I like the darkbrooding landscapes and bleakness, almost black and white old schooltelly of the camera work, much preferring the huge bleak North Eastcountryside of my birth to the cosy green of Hampshire which is nowmy home. But 35 minutes of a depressed, lonely, mumbling man with astrange family was enough. Yes he's suffering with the onset ofAlzheimers and I would like to have stuck it out to see how thescriptwriter depicted that but surely a detective story has to havesomething going on and nothing did, 35minutes in.

Marjorie thanks, but will pick and choose as usual. The Times loved it, the Sunday Times didn't
Adele I only go to the cinema to see what I want, wife often goes with her pals. I can only think of two films I fell asleep in the cinema. Pirellis Fountain or something and another.
We watched 12 Year a Slave other night, not entertaining, harrowing but skillfully done but puzzles in the story.
Also hired DVD O Brother where art Thou and loved it - Coen Bros and quirky.
