Have any of you got any inspirational ideas for in situ venues ? <div>I have got a branch of URBAN SKETCHERS ( google for more info) on the go . </div><div>The idea is to go and look, see and sketch . So far a nucleus of about ten have met at such places as a local Cathederal , an R S PB site a castle and an art gallery. Always we have been welcomed with warmth and courtesy . In fact the R S P B. In Conwy actually gave us a whole room with amazing views , all to ourselves. <div>Criteria is ,stuff to sketch , a loo and a bit of shelter . A cafe is a bonus. </div><div>Also its nice to maybe have somewhere to put your bum without being precariously perched. </div><div>Garden centres are on our list and shopping areas. But I would love a bit of inspire please... Yes, yes I know Mel we can take pics and go home and be comfy. But we like the company we like the immediacy of looking and recording. U S is now world wide and I so enjoy looking at sketches from the Far East, the States and from all over the U k . A little bit of magic from pencil and paper......ideas please. </div></div>
