As you know I bought a nice table easel a few months ago so I thought I'd post my feelings now I've got a few pics out of it.
Well, I love it. It does skate round the table sometimes but that's more about my learning to use it than anything else. I enjoy the angles I work at now and the paint is more manageable... And rather more fun to see it flow. I THINK it, makes me better at being precise but what is have noticed is that I am NOT precise. I can start to draw a lovely straight line and then when it's done I see I've drawn a worm. Very odd. So I live with it...heck, Van gogh couldn't even paint stars so why should I worry about a line. ?
Anyway the advice to buy an easel was good and the one I got at huge discount ditto.

David Do you have an eye test regularly. You may be needing new specs or for the first time specs . I would get my eyes checked anyway if I. were you.You should be able to draw a reasonably straight line if you havnt had too many drinkies in which case it is perfectly normal to get a wobbly line. cheers Syd
