Justin and Marjorie = excellent paintings.  
There's some good work here. Marjorie, the second painting you posted is a beauty! It has one of the softest, warmest most subtle skies Ive ever seen. I guess the red underpainting helped there. 
I have used a range of colours Peter and rarely paint from a white canvas. The advice you have been given is excellent.

Just love all three Marjorie, and especially your beautiful foreground colours. I've looked for them on the Gallery but can't find them - have you posted them to the Gallery? If not are you going to? 
Thank you Sandra. I’m sure I posted them but it would have been quite a time ago. Do you know that if you click on someone’s “ full profile” ( under any image) you come to all their images separated into subject headings. The first two images will be under “Places”, the third under “ Seasons” - I think.
