Number one: do you ever find you actually have too many ideas, rather than too few?  Eg, you can't decide what to paint first, and even get restive when working on the final stages of a painting because you want to get on with the next one?  <div> </div><div>And number two: I do look quite often at painting demos, more these days because I find most of them quite relaxing than because I'm hoping to learn anything (Paul Taggart has some demos on YouTube which achieve both relaxation and learning, though: he has a splendidly soporific voice, which helped me get to sleep last night; and they're packed with information which I found helped me to think again about a few things).  Now what was that question ..... oh yes: why do some painter-demonstrators go to the lengths of telling us which size brush they used, when the manufacturers' sizes vary so much?  Geoff Kersey's a great one for this - &quot;now I take the Number 6 brush&quot; ...  I hardly ever even notice what size brush I'm reaching for (can't see the number half the time either, it wore off years ago).  Does it really matter?</div>
