I know there was a thread about this somewhere but this is a different aspect. I had laboriously pencilled a complex scene onto 250g watercolour paper before painting and although pleased with the result I realised the composition would look better if it was shifted a couple of inches to the right. Rather than draw it all again my inspired solution was to tape the picture to a window with a fresh sheet on top. The bright daylight was sufficient to see the under-drawing clearly enough through the fresh sheet, and within a few minutes had traced a new drawing.
