I have a very heavy IKEA bed - a large double bed, although the double part is of purely academic interest, unfortunately. I put a thin board, painted in acrylic, on the headboard, pushed against the wall. A slithering sound advised me that it had slipped beneath the headboard of the unmoveable bed. And there, it is doomed to stay, since I can't shift the bed, and the backboard is solid: this is my contribution to immortality.... in years to come, long after I have been borne forth in a body-bag, some archaeological investigation will reveal the painting, as the (horrible IKEA woodchip monster) bed disintegrates. I think of this as being my commitment to securing a place in the next world, rather as the artists of cave painting have staked their claim.
