Hi, I have started trying to do a sketch/painting a day (again! - last couple of years it hasn't lasted much past the end of January, if that). I have posted ones for the first 4 days here but, I don't want to take up space on the main Gallery every day (quality is going to be extremely variable!) and I am aware there is already an issue with multiple postings etc. So, I wondered re a Blog and only posting the better ones on the Gallery - however: (a) blogs seem mostly used to advertise exhibitions, events, "how-to" etc - is it okay to do something like a sketch a day?; (b) is it something only established artists should do? Another option might be a thread on the forum?
Any ideas gratefully received?
Anybody else doing one-a-day that might want to join in?

Hi Maggy,
I don't think if you are posting your one a day in the Gallery, you will be overloading the gallery. Some of the other members do that. Maybe you will not receive that many comments, but you always will have some. If you put it in a blog, we maybe will not see your postings.
You also could start a thread on the Forum like this pen drawing member did and then we will be able to follow you and comment but give it then a recognisable name, so we know it is you posting.
