SylviaEvans (8/19/2017)At present I wouldn't have to go on holiday to mess about in boats, with all the rain we've had/are having I could do that in my back garden! Under water for the third, or is it fourth, time this winter! That said, I did notice all the lovely boat paintings, really appealing.
Just looked at the latest gallery page and there are seven paintings of boats...all lovely , including Avril Solidani.. Everyone is obviously on holiday by the coast .

Thank-you Pat. We did have quite bad flooding about 3 - 4 weeks ago, then more heavy rain, with the result that the water table is now very high so any ordinary rain causes surface water where the land is a bit lower. My comment was rather facetious, had surface water yesterday but it has drained off now that it's stopped raining. Ground very wet for this time of year though.
