Right-o. Who's up for a real challenge and a bit of fun?
Small up front cost (to buy a smallish sketchbook of a specified type, size etc), and a bit of postage and what have you.
Hopefully we can persuade the POL people to publish an article or a supplement or something at the end.
But first, we need some folks to sign up.
The basic idea is: get sketchbook, think of theme. Write breif description of theme. Use up to a pretermined number of pages of the book to illustrate the theme within set timescale. On or before set date, pass book to next particpant. Recieve a different book. Work to that theme. Pass on. etc.
The idea is not mine, but I'm running with it anyhow. I participated in the original scheme.
This is the clever lady who thought of the idea: http://www.isacarmona-art.com/

Contemplate. Consider.
Let me know.

Amanda (5/30/2015)I am missing something here - what's the point of handing your sketchbook on to someone else? I went on a course once where the tutor asked us to start a painting and then suddenly asked us to pass it to the person on our right for them to carry on with it. I was fuming and actually refused to do it as I wanted to finish what I had started and I just couldn't see the point of the exercise. Perhaps I am just territorial but I don't quite get this idea? Need more information.
