There is currently on “change.org” a petition to “Save the Freedom of Photography”, basically the EU want to prevent anyone from taking photographs of any buildings then either selling or publish them without the permission of the designer/Architect. This only appears to cover photographs but will they apply it to paintings? It could mean you could not sell a picture of a building without getting permission first which could be costly and where would one start looking for the right person?
Please sign now and prevent the possibility while we can...
