I've just been blocked from posting images in my thread on Martin Lewis's art.  I'm wondering if somehow I've been blocked from posting images.  I'm testing that here.

So I can still post images.  Perhaps I've somehow been blocked from posting images on the Martin Lewis thread.  All this tech stuff is double-dutch to me.  Luckily, I'd almost finished the Martin Lewis theme.

Curious and curiouser.  I've just had another look at the Martin Lewis thread, and today's posts ARE there.  I got the 'post removed' notice when first I tried.  Ah well, maybe situation normal now.

Thanks for sorting it out Norrette, I wasn't sure how much the moderators could do.  It's a sign that POL are working to solve this spam problem, and I'm really pleased about that.

It's the inevitable problem with automatic reporting - I had the same problem, but was able to resolve it by approving the image - what happens is that an image hits the automatic system as possible spam; there's no individual human involvement in that, but there is when the post is sent to moderators for review.  Then we just restore or resolve it, by using our own human judgement. I welcome this, provided it doesn't prove to be TOO sensitive, and questions posts that shouldn't be: it's a sign the technical people are really getting down to resolving these issues, and it should help to stem the spammers' flow.   These extra images are further examples of a remarkable artist's work - so glad you were able to post them!
