hello Sylvia I am a technophobe. short of using a hammer to my ipad i cant empty my inbox by any visible instruction. why does everything have to be by hidden clues ?Mr. Dunno

1 - tick the box for ALL or tick each individual box to select some messages 2 - there's a drop-down box - set it to [delete] 3 - smack your mousie on the [GO} button. Ipad/Android - it should be about the same but you'd use the touch screen to tick the boxes and set the drop down...

D D thanks for help I have no problem on my P C and can delete at will. But like Syd I also use an I Pad which somehow refuses to follow the same format various things are "different" and not always logical ,so I can well understand the frustration Syd is having. Sorry Syd, Dawn will be back after the bank holiday, do you have this Bank Holiday up in Bonnie Scotland.?

It IS very possible that the mobile version of the site has missed those "features". REALLY daft if they have.. a drop down box and a button for [GO} doesn't take up much room. Oh well.. Sorry I can't help.

What a crazy situation Syd. I wonder if this applys to other tablets beside I pads there are a lot out there. Im beginning to feel like a second class citizen. Hopefully it will be sorted soon.
