Fluffers - I rather like that.... I do take the point made above, if bad-temperedly (not by you this time) that to talk of right and wrong, errors and so on, is dependent on many things, not least on what you were trying to achieve. It's only an error, I think, when you've got a result you probably hadn't intended because you didn't look hard enough: and masking fluid (which I don't like at the best of times) makes that a touch more likely. If the artist actually intended this result - and I've not read the whole article, only seen the screenshot provided by Syd - that might be something else again: I just doubt that he or she did. It's still worth pointing out the potential pitfall to new painters, which is what we were trying to do.
