I have set the forum up so that all newcomers have to be approved (turning into quite a job but hey-ho!) this will hopefully start to eliminate some of the spam appearing on the site.

It's become apparent that some spammers are still getting through, but (my fingers being welded crossed) the flow is much reduced. Dawn is taking further technical advice, she tells me - I know she's working hard at this, and I'm sure she'll get there in the end: thus making me bored because I have no more spam to remove (I can do with boredom like that...).
