I like to ask for some new ideas for new paintings...   Looking For New Inspiration...   If you make a suggestion, please try to think outside the box for me...   I am an Aquarius, so keep it interesting... I don't mind crazy as long as it is not extremely crazy...  Need something really original...
Why not try a landscape/seascape or the interior of a room in the Fauvism style of painting.
It's a thought, but truthfully I hate Fauvism... Most of the Fauvism paintings Iv'e seen, look like crap... It's expressive, don't get me wrong, but it does not work as abstract, not good abstract anyway, nor does it work as any kind of impressionism... It's too stark.. not subtle, or graceful...
I think it's wonderful but that's just personal taste Eric. I always think it's good to look at different styles when looking for new inspiration. The theory behind them can often spark the imagination. Trying a style and subject out of your comfort zone, may be an idea for you to find new inspiration. I'm sure the other members will have lot's of ideas for you.

There is a big wide world out there. Get out in the street ,in a field ,on a beach...a sketch book , a pencil...look  at people, animals , buildings, skies  ,trees, flowers, birds, blue tits ,black birds... stop prevaricating  ..just DO it...
I have done all that Sylvia... I'm looking for ideas and concepts that I can't simply see with my eyes... If you know my Art, I have covered a wide range of topics  and subjects already.. Music, mythology, occultism, geometry, landscapes, still life, portraits, buildings, crowds, interiors, dinosaurs, even the Akashic Record, and Brain Waves... Always searching for the new.. That is what I mean by out of the box thinking...   I want something and Idea that is really original...
Abstraction! Think Picasso for portraits, or Nicholas de Stael for landscapes. Just an idea!
Well there you go  you  seem to be jaded with the art world and process, I find that sad. Look up Helenya Apostalou  she is very original.    O

Ok, Ellen that's an idea... I have already done some portraits in the Picasso style of sorts, but I don't think I am familiar with Nicholas Stael.. I will have to check him out.. Thanks.. I still want more unique ideas... Like flower blossoms made up entirely of Dragonfly's for example... I'm not going to do that.. but you get what i mean...
Coincidentally, there is a major de Staël exhibition on in Paris right now (also a forthcoming Rothko retrospective). And perhaps this is not the right time to mention it, but you could also check out Matisse, Derain & Friends in Basel until Jan 2024 ;-)
I suggested you look up Helenya Apostalou I gather you haven't seen it.  Thoughts please .   She certainly thinks outside of the box.
Have you looked into Cymatics Eric?  Infinite possibilities, even if used for the ground for other work…..especially with your talent for blending beautiful colours.
