We will be at Adgestone Camping site, Lower Road, from 5th July to 8th July. I aim to sneak away sketching for a day with Robert during that period at a venue he has chosen, while my wife either comes and walks the area or she goes off shopping. Any clues where we could go. preferably witha pub close by for a snack lunch?
You might like to try the Bonchurch Landslip near Ventnor where I have seen painters sketch before. However, I am sure Robert knows best.
Thanks Pat, worth knowing anyway
You should work anyway you want.

He probably means 'anywhere'. My biggest consideration these days is - is there a loo close to hand? I'll give this thought over the next few weeks; a favourite place used to be Tennyson Down - the snag is, could either of us get up there? But as I say - I'll give it a think... Suggestions from those familiar with the island welcome, bearing in mind one of us is 65 and the other 76..... (And before Sylvia chimes in with her 'oh you're just a child!', bear in mind I have two dodgy hips, one eye in full operation, and spinal arthritis. It takes twice as long to get to interesting places as it used to........ I think POL should sponsor us: providing a couple of attendants each, as we haul ourselves up hill and down dale..... http://www.isleofwightlandscapes.net http://www.wightpaint.blogspot.co.uk
Wow! What a bunch of ideas, so all we need from the sponsors like POL is a couple of rough terrain self drive buggies and a helper or two. What a day, wherever it may be - thanks Sylvia, Pat and of course my main man Robert
