There was an interesting programme about Mona Lisa last night , here's the link: http://www.bbc.co.uk/iplayer/episode/b06ryn6l/secrets-of-the-mona-lisa The presenter went to see a version of the portrait in Singapore. It's owned a group of people and is kept in a bank vault. I imagine if it had a convincing provenance it would be shown in an art gallery. I liked this version (the Isleworth Mona Lisa) more than the original. The face appeared more natural and didn't looked overworked.. Leonardo took the original with him when he moved to France, and he kept touching it up until he died. There was also scientific evidence that the original in the Louvre has another, slightly different portrait under the original painting.

Yes thoroughly enjoyed it although never drawn to the actual work having viewed it in Louvre
