It's all there in my head, I know what I want to paint. Off I go, all my gear in a backpack. I have a picnic I have the venue, I sit ,I look, I start to paint....I make a mess!!!!<div>Why oh why is the expectation never met? I always know what I want to do, but it never comes up to expectation. My life class , I plan my materials, I have a plethora of just about everything. I look , I think...I make a mess. I set a still life...and have a repeat performance. I never seem to do what I set out to do. Sometimes the resultant mess is O K . But I never seem to achieve what was in my head when I started . Often I get better results with spontaneity, things just come together and "happen" is this just me ,or is it the fate of painters to always be dissatisfied with their efforts.?</div>
