I really enjoyed the LS Lowry programme on BBC2 , very well presented and thoughtful. Also showed a lot of his work that I had not seen before, especially his wartime scenes.  Anyone else watch it?

Yes, it was thoughtful. He seemed a bit of a contradiction, he didn't want to be thought of as an amateur, yet he had imposter syndrome when he started to sell. I like the fact he stayed in his same home throughout his life. He seemed to paint for the enjoyment of it.  There was also another Lowry programme on SkyArts*, which I recorded. I think Sky & the BBC are in competition. :-)  Edit: The other prgramme was on BBC4 not Skyarts.
