I am looking into a print run of some of my line drawings for a local retailer. I enquired at my local framers who advised giclee's - for which their charge is £50 for the initial download etc and £8 per print thereafter. This is the same as they charge for my large watercolours and these line drawings are only 5.5 ins square and (of course) are only in one colour - namely black. This is clearly way out and I could never recover the charges - certainly not in the short term.
I wonder if anyone has any suggestions (websites?) for cheaper prints (they do need to be lightfast) which are more cost effective.
Also any good suggestions for on-line card printers - I am looking for quite a large print run of 7 by 5 ins cards (3 lots of 100) complete with envelopes and acetate covers. After a very quick search I have identified a couple of potentials but any recommendations would be appreciated.

Thanks all for your helpful advice. I'm currently looking into a local printer and waiting prices. Meantime I quite like the look of Pennybatch gallery - such an easy site to use for an old duffer like me.
I have looked at Moo but a bit concerned that their logo appears on the reverse - as they are so well known I'm just a bit concerned it may not be appropriate for cards on retail sale in a large store.

Peter suggested salt-of-the-earth and I can confirm that they supply good quality Giclee prints. I also sell mounted photo prints which are available at a fraction of the cost from online suppliers (e.g. https://cewe-photoworld.com/)

I've just received the cards from Pennybatch - quick efficient service - I elected for the dearer matt card and brown envelopes - also a 10mm border. Must say they appear to be an excellent product with super colour reproduction. I shall certainly be using them again. Thanks for the tip about Cewe, Pat - I shall take a look at their site.
