Reminiscing

Every now and again I remember someone from here on POL.   Then want to look at their work again.  One such reminisce was Blood Axe  aka Mick Saunders ( thank you Marjorie) .   I put his name in here on the gallery and up he popped  some lovely ,lovely paintings and a delight to see once more .  He and I didn’t always get along he could be quite irascible Robert often played peace maker , but I did admire his skills. Sadly he died some years ago but how nice to be remembered by the paintings you created. Several other artists are here on the site many of them were characters  Thea Cable our lovely Syd and some whose names I don’t remember .one guy did wonderful cartoons  they reminded me of the Giles cartoons, another who did watercolour portraits where he allowed the paint to run down the paper creating interesting effects.  Can anyone else remember those particular two.  I am so pleased that they live on here in the  gallery and they haven’t been “tidied “ up.
