There comes a time...
when I think ' I could do a self portrait' . Hmmmm.
I spend an afternoon churning out what I thought was a passable, even painterly, oil portrait of my well worn mug & thought yeah , not a bad effort.
Wifey of 30 years comes in from shopping & enquires who it's meant to be.
Crash & burn time then.
I would love to know the experiences of other brave souls who have dabbled in this scary avenue of portraiture.
