Every Sunday as I stand in Dublins Merrion square attempting to sell a piece or two I'm constantly dealing with mainly tourists , you could bet your house on it that during the day you will be asked several times ...
1: ' How long did it take you to paint that '
2: ' My great auntie Winnie used to paint .... in watercolour '
3: This one I call the ' brush off ' its when a tourist asks how much a painting is and realises it's ( gulp ) to expensive and they always say ,
' I cannot take anything framed on the plane '
