Last weekend I attended an art show together with about 40 other artists and art craftsmen (or are they crafts people now?). The weather outside the well heated hall was not very inviting. Maybe that was the reason why there were hardly any visitors. So many of us did not sell anything (I sold two postcards).
The Tiffany man next to me sold some of his small wares at one pound fifty a piece. The hand made jewellery opposite my stand could not have had more than 3 buyers.
We all felt that the organizer had failed to advertize the event properly. When asked he said it was up to the town clerk to do so. When the town clerk came along she said we should write to the mayor.
Most of us will not attend the same event next year.
