Have just been to view an exhibition held for fund raising in a local village hall.<div>Twice in the last two years I have observed in exhibitions photographic work printed onto canvases. They generally are stunning and would look wonderful on anyones wall. But, I put my PAINTINGS into what I assumed was an art exhibition for works in a painterly medium. </div><div>I know this will bring back the now age old discussion re digital paintings , actually I have no problems with a digitally produced work...but, not a digitally enhanced photograph or a photograph printed onto a canvas. I think that these exhibits should be in an exhibition or seperate category of their own. </div><div>Am I being a nitty picky ? or is this now the way of exhibitions everywhere. </div><div> One exhibition was a village hall one the other one a prestigious exhibition in a known gallery. </div><div> </div><div>
