You can find—if you are really bored*—dozens of things like this on the interweb. I came across this one by accident through Pinterest. It appears that, judging from the number of people who save them, that some people actually think this is good advice. All except no. 10 seem to contradict no. 4. I think there must be a factory (probably in China) that churns these things out by the hundred. *Caution; you do need to be really, really bored, not just a bit fed up.
Yes, I've seen that.....  It's far from the worst 'meme' or assemblage of trite sayings out there: the ones I particularly hate are those that offer what their composers probably think of as spiritual uplift, of a vaguely religious type.  This is the trouble with all of these sites, Facebook, Tumblr, Twitter, Pinterest - you'll find this kind of wet waffle, and worse.  I've just signed out of Twitter for the last time - it's either crammed with viciousness, or swamped with floppy cliché, and I can do without either. Is the advice in this thing bad ..... more pointless, I should say: it's as if whoever composed it is talking to him or herself, and trying to justify themselves against criticisms received.  As for 'creating new culture' - well good luck with that one; and I do detest being told what my 'job' as an artist is.  I'll define that for myself, thanks all the same.   And God knows what No. 6 is supposed to mean - and perhaps God alone cares....
Bored...bored  what’s bored .?...don’t have time to be bored .
Don't think I've been seriously bored since I left school and no longer had to attend Mr Egford's math class (lovely man - not his fault).  Depressed, annoyed, peeved, b. furious, excited, anxious - all of those.  But not bored - there's drink to be drunk, cigars to be smoked, books to be read, paintings to do, films to watch, walks to be had, sleeps to be slept, food to be cooked (and eaten), gratuitous advice to dispense .... hard to squeeze boredom in.
