In the March Artists Mag there is a demo from Charles Reid.
He demonstrates a loose, lively watercolour painting using an old black and white photograph as a reference.
I find the idea pretty exciting. Has any of you tried to paint one of your ancestors with a black and white photo ?
I will give it a try.
