Yes, it's a pain in the backside trying to keep up wit the people who make comments when you want to go back later to see their work again. What about a direct link via the posters name to his/her gallery? All the other sites I go to manage that task OK, one particularly admirable example is ePhotozine. best Mick
Thank you, but my problem is: if I am (for ex.) at gallery page 9 , post a few comments on an artist's portfolio and then want to go back to the last gallery page I was looking at (page 9) to continue. Do I have to start all over from the Gallery Home page until I am at page 9 again?
Your computer browser can bookmark them for you... You just click 'Bookmark this page'... It really is that simple... This is usually a star shaped icon top right of screen, in the box at the end of...wwwPOL
Thanks, but this is not working!!! I have a Mac (Safari programme) and when I click on the cross when viewing the gallery page, then comment on several works of an artist in his "Other Images"portfolio, then click on the cross again, it reproduces the last work I was commenting on! If I go to the "history" of my programme, there is no difference between individual works and gallery pages, as it used to be some time ago (a different logo)! The only solution is, in my view, comment on one work, then just return one step and scrol all the gallery pages one by one back until I see the other works of that artist. Or, as suggested, go to the gallery home page and type the name of that particular artist in the display to look at his/her whole portfolio and post my comments. :-(
Burger its back to the primitive pen & paper for you then... The right click Open in New Tab...will also work...
Unfortunately Painters Online is the most idiosyncratic forum system. I had hoped that the recent revamp would have brought a change, but apart from some brighter colours there has been no significant alterations sadly. It just isn't user friendly, changing to "vbulletin" which is the standard for most online forums would be a big improvement.
