In today's paper it says there is to be a new TV Art programme on BBC later this month .
I quote
" Alongside renowned amateur artist Una Stubbs, Richard Bacon is to present a sort of |Great British Pain off called The Big painting Challenge.
Each week, ten amateur artists face various artistic challenges to show off their skills with portraiture, still life and landscapes. Over 6 weeks the artists will face elimination by the judges- artists Lachlan GOudie, and Daphne Todd OBE- the winner will have their work displayed at Tate Britain for two weeks."
Bacon was the Blue peter presenter who got sacked for using cocaine.
