Hello, I originally joined painters online about 8 years ago and loved it but haven't picked up a paint brush Since then. Complete loss of confidence and going through a very difficult few years, living in a very rural area feeling cut-off from people hasn't helped. Then I had a 'light bulb' moment...why not get back into painting! Currently looking for a group or class and going to take the plunge! Just wondered if any one can recommend a short break or workshop, 2 or 3 days in UK to give me a kick-start!!
Hi Louise , clever you starting the painty makarky again . There are groups in the U K. Will dig one out i know of a couple ...dog needs her walk so will find a link for you later today.
Welcome back. I live in a rural location so know what a challenge it can be. Hope Sylvia can dig out some links for you/
Welcome back Louise. Looking forward to seeing your works in due course. Enjoy your workshop or lessons.
Well done you for getting back to painting. Hope you find a course you fancy, and do show us how you get on.
Hi Louise, look at Charles Evans website. He does three day painting workshops up in Northumberland and he also visits various places around the country or abroad to teach groups of people. I went on one of his three day courses in Northumberland approximately ten years ago and I learnt a lot from it. The courses were very well run and Charles is an excellent teacher. Sarah
