Just been to the top of my garden ...it's a long puff up there Sylvs shed is near to the top. .At the moment its standing in a blanket of leaves ,mainly Oak one of my trees is several hundred years old and huge , there's an Ash  that's pretty big and a mixture of Birch, Larch , Maple and some fruit trees all of which are about 25 years old ,we planted them.    This caught my eye and at first sighting I thought it was an escapee from my shed.    It just looks as though someone has painted it. ...it's rather beautiful. Any ideas  anyone ?  Front and back.

Is it a leaf from one of the larger leaved Ivy’s Sylvia…..not necessarily from your own garden? It is beautiful and as you say, it could be hand painted. Isn’t nature clever! Will you paint it?
Hah.......yes Fiona now I see it .it's actually 8" across and very leathery .  In retrospect I have seen the smaller leaves like this.   It's the sheer size of this thar threw me.   It's possibly from my garden ,it's a bit of a jungle up there.   Probably won't paint it, it already is.  Thank s. .
We’ve got that ivy growing along one side of our garden - its leaves do get very big.  More interesting than most ivies with its lovely variegation, but takes a lot of keeping under control!

This is obviously variegated but this one is exactly as though someone painted on it with watercolour.  .  Will go Ona jungle hunt to see if I can see the source. Y
That's a whopper, Sylvia. Be careful on your hunt there could be hidden twigs and branch bits under those leaves, and very slippy this time of year.
Probably a Badger sitting in wait.   There is a set up there.  But thank you....or a Squirrel.......or a fox....🐾🐾🐾🐾
