Hello all,
I am in the fantastic position of having moved to Ross-shire (Scottish Highlands) and would love to find a local art group if there are any. I have looked on the art club finder part of the website and can't find any. My closest towns are Tain, Dornoch, Invergordon and Alness. I would probably also be willing to go as far as Dingwall or even Inverness. Do any of you know of any art clubs in this area? A long shot I know, but thought I would pose the question.

Hello Audrey, lovely part of Scotland you’ve moved to. This advice could be out of date but Dornoch had a weekly group and also a group in Lairg but that’s probably a bit too far north for you. I lived on the west coast and sometimes traveled over to Lairg. The groups were only active in the winter though....not exactly the best time of year!
Good luck. You could try the local councils of the places you are willing to travel to, they may have more info. There’s a group at Ullapool but again probably too far west. The one draw back to living in the highlands I’m afraid, it’s a long way to travel to do anything of this nature, the reason I moved from the highlands to be honest.
