Sylvia..............That's nothing like Marin Allsop!! I have seen her many times conducting the Bournemouth Symphony Orchestra..........but there again, that was mostly her rear view.

Jim...Nowt wrong wi' a scribble, lad, I do it all the time, on old envelopes, shopping slips, backs of statements, on anything I can find. Unfortunately I scribble down important things like appointments made over the phone as well, and numbers which messages left there tell me to ring back....And can I find them again?! Can I eck as like.. you will have gathered I am a Lancashire lass also, a sand grown 'un, actually,. Taught a few years at Peel, near Little Hulton, too, not so far from yourself in Bolton, they were grand kids. nice to meet you.

Getting back to the subject. I mostly paint from phots as reference points. Personally I think there is nothing wrong with that as I create something different from different phots.

I don't Sylvia. I stick to what interests me.... I used to do motorsports, F1.... Tried landscapes but they did nothing for me, as I love the human form.
