Do you cringe at the thought of promoting your own artwork? Perhaps you feel that marketing your work means marketing yourself? This week's blog post offer's my no-jazz-hands-needed guide to self promotion (Part 1) for all solo creatives and hobbyist artists & it's MUCH, MUCH easier than you think... I hope you enjoy it. http://www.samanthabarnes.com/new-blog/2017/6/4/for-the-artists-solo-creatives-that-struggle-with-self-promotion I hope you enjoy, Samantha </h1>

I think it needs a little more meat on the bones, Sam. I follow a certain artist on Twitter. At least twice each day there's a picture of some artwork, the price and whether or not it's framed. Others put a picture with a link to their Etsy page and so on; such things are important for people to know how well (or otherwise) they work. A couple of case studies might help you.
I don't know much about all this Samantha but I have just read your blog and find it really interesting as well as helpful to those starting out.
Good morning Alan, Good morning Adele. Thank you for your comments, both really helpful. Alan, you are right. In light of this I have added 'Part 1' because there is SO much to add to this subject and my plan is to cover more over time. Thanks for the nudge. This first post is really meant for those that really don't know much about self promotion at all - as they build in confidence, I will be adding further posts. I'm just loading up a short video to accompany the post which I'll add in here too. Thanks again and have a lovely day. Samantha
