Do you ever find you know just where you need a touch of light or dark, turn away to your palette to mix it or even just to pick it up, and then, when you look back at the painting - you've no clue on or beyond this earth where the Hell you were intending to apply it? <div>
</div><div>If you do - and it's happened to me more than once lately, complicated, I suspect, by varifocal lenses - what do you do about it (he asked, plaintively)?</div>
