A friend of our has asked for a painting to gift her husband at Christmas. We talked about it back in January when I had an open house. She particularly like my fox hunting scene but doesn't agree with the sport/pursuit whatever you want to call it. She liked the colours, the landscape etc.
She knows I can't paint like that any more, it was a big oil work and has seen some of my recent work however she doesn't want abstract. We outlined the ideas between us last night and she will call in to see the most recent I have framed for our art club's show in mid September.
I reckon I can handle it, but agreed I will work a study for her to see if it's the right sort of thing.
