Our club were invited to join Fordingridge Art Group to a talk by the master. About 8 of us went, filthy night drive across the treacherous new Forest in driving rain.
What a performance, he spoke non stop for about 90 minutes with a well put together slideshow of his career from Belfast to the current day. I didn't know he had done so much military work.
Humour, self affacing and very approachable in answering questions from the floor.
